HUNTER, New York — Hunter Mountain and northern New Jersey ski area Mountain Creek have joined forces to offer skiers and riders the Metro MountainCard for the 2006-07 ski season. These cards are $99 and will only be sold during the Princeton Ski Sale from December 5-9 at Giants Stadium. They will be available at the Hunter Mountain and Mountain Creek booths.

The cards are essentially two-in-one. The Metro MountainCard acts as a Big Lift card at Hunter, and a Triple Play card at Mountain Creek. The cardholder is entitled to three lift tickets at Mountain Creek (excluding January 13-15), a free unlimited lift ticket at Hunter Mountain, and Big Lift Card season-long savings: $15 off weekend/holiday lift ticket purchases (reg. $57/$59), $20 off midweek tickets (reg. $50) and $25 lift tickets on Tuesdays (excluding December 26).

The card can be redeemed at Mountain Creek for three lift tickets, used at Hunter Mountain for one unlimited ticket, then used throughout the season at Hunter for additional savings. Buying this card gives an estimated savings of over $100.

This sale marks Hunter Mountain and Mountain Creek’s first partnership. “We’re glad to be offering the opportunity for skiers and riders to take advantage of two mountains close to the Metro area,” says Rob Megnin, Marketing & Sales Director. “It’s a great deal for area residents and the Princeton Ski Sale is the best place to have it available.”

The Princeton Ski Sale starts on Tuesday, December 5 at Giants Stadium, and ends on Saturday, December 9. Cards will be sold every day of the show.
