MOUNT SNOW, Vermont ??” On Saturday, December 10th, youths will be ‘paying their age’ for a full day of skiing and riding at Mount Snow during the return of the highly successful “Youth Pay Their Age Day” promotion. Skiers and riders ages 18 and under can purchase a lift ticket for the price equivalent to their own age on this special
day.

“Mount Snow has always catered to young people – they’re part of our tradition that dates back to the days of Walt Schoenknecht,” commented Vice President of Branding, Kelly Pawlak. “In the 1950’s Walt designed Mount Snow to be the ultimate winter playground for kids. Today Mount Snow’s commitment to world-class terrain parks and expertly groomed learning terrain continues in that exact same tradition.”

This season Mount Snow added a Saturday to the promotional schedule based on feedback from kids and parents. YPTAD is scheduled to occur twice this season. In addition to Saturday, December 10, YPTAD will also be offered on Sunday, March 12. On Sunday, January 29, Mount Snow will debut “Bring Your Parents to the Slopes Day” whereby children 18 and under will receive a complimentary full day lift ticket when a parent purchases a full day ticket.

“We’re close, and when you add up the fuel savings from carpooling the value of these promotional days just gets better,” added Pawlak. “There’s no better time to visit the Mount Snow Valley and see what we have to offer.”

Youth Pay Their Age Day is just the latest in a series of Mount Snow promotions focused on growing participation in snow sports. Last year Mount Snow introduced the “Bring A Friend” program, which rewards guests with a free lift ticket for recruiting first time participants to a learning clinic.
