Killington Introduces Informative, Entertaining Multi-media Web Content

KILLINGTON, Vermont ??” Killington Resort is now offering many new channels of creative and entertaining interactive information for skiers and riders to get the latest news and conditions at the resort, including a new freestyle oriented micro-site www.RideKillington.com, three separate podcasts and RSS feeds.

At the www.RideKillington.com site, you will find frequently updated videos and photos that visitors will be able to vote on, bio’s for the Killington Resort Freeride Team and event listings. However, the most appealing aspect of the page is without a doubt the terrain park section. By simply running a mouse cursor through the boxes laid out on the 3-D mountain diagram, terrain park features come alive to paint a picture of what each Killington terrain park offers.

Visitors to the Killington website will be able to subscribe to the daily SnowCast featuring the latest mountain conditions and resort news. Also available is the weekly DriftCast, offering entertainment news from Sanjeet, your entertainment support specialist, DriftCast-only lodging and lift ticket deals, spotlight interviews of celebrities who ski and ride at Killington and “Anna on the Mountain,” who reports on everything from behind the scenes at Killington to entertainment and nightlife. In addition, Killington’s SoundRide PodCast, offers two and a half hours of the newest independent rock.

All of the Killington Resort podcasts can also be subscribed to through RSS feeds. The latest updated conditions reports can be subscribed to through an RSS reader. This allows subscribers to keep up with the most current trail condition information without having to browse the Killington Resort website. Members of the media will also be able to subscribe and receive press releases through RSS to receive the latest resort news.
