Killington Resort Reopens September 16th for Fall Foliage Season

KILLINGTON, Vt. (September 15, 2011) – Vermont’s Killington Resort will reopen for the fall foliage season on Friday, September 16, 2011. Route 4 East from Rutland and West from Woodstock will also open Friday, allowing access to the Killington area.

The K-1 Express Gondola will spin from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. weekends only through September 25 and daily beginning October 1-10 for scenic gondola rides and hiking access. Mountain biking operations have concluded for the summer so that we may focus on preparing the mountain for the upcoming snow sports season.

The Killington Golf Course and Pro Shop will reopen daily, Friday, September 16-October 10. Tee times are available from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. daily. Initially, fourteen holes will be available with the additional four coming online by the middle of next week. The Clubhouse Grill will be open with bar service including drinks, snacks and hot dogs every Friday-Sunday for the remainder of the season.

Additionally, Killington Resort Lodging will be accepting reservations for arrivals beginning on September 23 and the Pico Sports Center will reopen on Saturday, September 17.
