Loon Mountain Opens for Summer Adventure Friday, June 15

LINCOLN, New Hampshire — New Hampshire’s most popular winter playground, Loon Mountain, opens for summer fun and adventure Friday, June 15, 2007. The Gondola will be open for scenic Skyrides Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17. Full daily operations including the Gondola Skyride, mountain biking, hiking, Summit Glacial Caves, Lost Loon Gold treasure hunt, and rock climbing walls begin on June 23. Hours of operation are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Tickets for the Gondola Skyride can be purchased at the Gift Shop, open at 9 AM daily. Skyride tickets are $13 for those ages 13 and over, $8 for kids 6-12, and $11 for seniors, ages 65 and up. Children under 5 and those with 2007-08 Threedom Passes ride for free.

Guests can grab a bite to eat in the Octagon Caf?В© or have lunch on the patio of the Summit Caf?В©. On Sunday mornings, starting July 1, the Summit Caf?В© will host a Mountaintop All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet – topped off with a view of the scenic White Mountains.
