VERNON, New Jersey — Kids are going back to school and summer is coming to a close, suddenly winter is just around the corner. For those of us who have been dreaming of the first flakes of snow, it won’t be long now. And with fall, comes Mountain Creek’s annual Season Pass sale, featuring the lowest prices for the coming 2007-2008 winter season. Purchase your Season Pass before the October 8th deadline, and save big.

Mountain Creek is shaking things up for the coming season both on hill and off. The resort has more than doubled the size of its terrain parks, creating the largest park in the East at South, with over 60 acres of progressive freestyle terrain for all skill levels, enhanced its commitment to safety with a revamped Park Pass education program, and given the South lodge a makeover and attitude adjustment. Customers at the Vernon Base will enjoy the return of five “new” intermediate trails where the terrain parks had formerly been located, nearly $500,000 in snowmaking improvements, a NASTAR course, and everyone at the resort will benefit from a new lift ticket scanning system and FREE ski and board check.

Mountain Creek has also introduced three new pass products for this season, the All-Access Season Pass, 5×7 Season Pass and the My Mountain Card.

A Mountain Creek Season Pass is the best way to make the most of the winter season, and this year guests will choose the type of pass that fits them best. The All-Access Season Pass will provide unlimited access to the slopes from open ’til close seven days and nights a week, plus exclusive Freedom on the Hill perks, with Saturday and Sunday mornings reserved just for you from 8am-9am.

Or choose the new 5×7 Season Pass, made especially for those who prefer to avoid the busiest weekend hours. With the 5×7 Pass guests can ski or ride anytime Monday through Friday (including holidays), or weekends during twilight hours (2:30pm-close), and save up to $200. All Season Pass holders will continue to enjoy discounts and benefits including a 20% discount on food and fountain drinks, the 20% Insider Edge discount on all lodging at Mountain Creek and other Intrawest resorts, $10 Stratton early and late season lift tickets, and 50% off lift tickets at other great Intrawest resorts, and exclusive discounts in our retail, rentals and repair shops.

For a limited time adult All-Access Season Passes are available at the pre-season price of just $399, or $349 for youth. 5×7 Season Passes are just $199 for adults and $179 for youth. These prices go up $100 after October 8th, so don’t delay.

The new My Mountain card is a great deal for anyone planning to visit Mountain Creek this winter. At just $39, it includes one lift ticket plus $10 off every visit, all season long, with no restrictions. The My Mountain card is such a good deal, that it’s only available through December 24th.

Mountain Creek South is scheduled to debut on December 15, one week after opening day at Vernon Base on December 8. Visit mountaincreek.com or call Guest Services at 973-827-2000 for more information or to purchase your Season Pass.
