VERNON, New Jersey ??” Mountain Creek is proud to host the slopesyle and superpipe finals of the Mid-Atlantic Snowboard Series (M.A.S.S.) for the seventh consecutive year.

M.A.S.S. is sanctioned by The United States of America Snowboard Association (U.S.A.S.A.) and allows athletes to compete in a series of events gaining points to compete in the finals. The championships offer riders their last chance to increase their leads or shorten the point gap to qualify for the year’s USASA Nationals held later this year.

Mid-Atlantic Snowboard Series competitions are open to riders of all ages and abilities. The cost to participate is $20.00 per competition and riders who are not Mountain Creek season pass holders must also purchase a lift ticket. A USASA membership is required and may be obtained at www.USASA.org or during registration at the Mountain Express restaurant at the Vernon base of Mountain Creek.

Riders will show off their best tricks during Saturday’s slopestyle competition and pull out all the stops during the halfpipe competition on Sunday, in Mountain Creek’s renowned superpipe. Each of the events is judged with riders separated into age groups to raise the level of competition.

Registration on Saturday is in the Mountain Express at Vernon Base from 7:30-8:30 am, the event begins at 9:00am.
