Okemo Readies to Host the 1st Annual Okemo Art and Craft Festival July 22-24

LUDLOW, Vermont ??” In just a few short weeks, Okemo’s Jackson Gore base area will be adorned with elegant Camelot-style tents filled with handcrafted works of art, crafts and music during the 1st Annual Okemo Art and Craft Festival held on July 22-24, 2005.

This signature celebration of the arts will feature over 100 talented artists and craftsmen who were previously selected for the high quality of their products. The unique and large selection of fine, handcrafted work will include handcrafted pottery, hand blown glass, one of a kind jewelry, colorful hand-woven scarves, striking photography, original drawings, paintings, sculpture, and home furnishings from Ludlow’s Clear Lake Furniture.

This top-rated festival is a wonderful place to spend the day with the entire family. Visitors can stroll through the majestic tents, filled with collectibles, sample traditional country fare, and Okemo’s gracious hospitality, and be entertained with a wonderful blend of music. Special performances will be scheduled throughout the event. Okemo’s culinary staff will introduce a selection of country fare including fowl, Vermont products and cheese, with an emphasis on locally grown and organic products.

Daily admission is $6 for adults and $2 for children between the ages of 13-17.
