BARTLETT, New Hampshire — On February 23 the Red Bull SCS Sled Style Extreme Snowmobile Exhibition will be returning to Attitash in Bartlett, New Hampshire. DJ Melee, resident D.J. at Avalon, Boston, MA will be playing alongside the jaw-dropping exhibition.

“This show was incredibly well received last year. It’s amazing to watch what these guys do on their snow machines,” said Krissy Fraser, communications manager at Attitash. “Most people only think of snowmobiling on trails and through the woods – these guys take it to an entirely different level with their aerial stunts. They are pushing the limits in the sport of extreme snowmobiling.”

Beginning at 7:00 PM, X Game riders Heath Frisby, Jay Quinlan and Kourtney Hungerford, recognized as some of the best riders in North America, will perform 45 minutes of sprawling aerial jumps off of two launch ramps set up in the Bear Peak base area at Attitash.

Jay Quinlan is one of the innovators in the sport. He was the first snowmobile rider to stick a backflip in competition. That was at the 2003 Red Bull Fuel + Fury, in Jackson, Wyoming. When the rest of the field caught on, like Hungerford and Frisby, he answered by executing back-to-back backflips at the 2004 event as reported on his website www.JayQuinlan.com. For additional information and some insight to what you will witness at the event visit www.HeathFrisby.com.

The show will start promptly at 7:00 PM so make plans to arrive early and find your ideal viewing spot. Prior to the show there will be a barbecue set up on the Bear Peak deck serving burgers and hot dogs beginning at 5:00 PM.

D.J. Melee’s performance, that will take place throughout the show, is a selection of energy driven, funky bass oriented breaks and beats, mixes, and sound manipulation.

While space is limited, the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel is offering ski and stay packages for the weekend. For more information or reservations guests can visit attitash.com or call (800) 223-SNOW.
