Richie Paradise Crowned Champion at the ATP Bud Light Rail Jam at Attitash

BARTLETT, New Hampshire — Skier, Richie Paradise of Bedford, NH was crowned the ATP Bud Light Rail Jam Champion on Sunday, December 31, 2006 and was presented a check for $1,000. 19 competitors hit the rail set up for a 45 minute jam session before judges narrowed the field to the top 10.

PJ Beauregand of Hopkinton, MA took 2nd place earning $500, with Cody Boan, Tyler Thistle and Andrew Hathaway also cashing in on the $2,000 purse placing 3rd – 5th respectively.

The Rail Jam was the first of four events in the 06/07 ATP Freeride Series with Slopestyle, Superpipe Jam and Skiercross/Ridercross events to follow. The winner of the series will be crowned “ATP Freeride Champion” at the final event in March and take home an American Skiing Company All For One Pass valid for the 07/08 season.

Athletes competing in any or all of the ATP Freeride Series will be entered into a raffle to win the ATP Free Ride, a 1962 Chevrolet Greenbrier, to be raffled off at the final event.

Attitash is in the White Mountains of New Hampshire on Rt. 302 outside of North Conway in Bartlett. During the winter, Attitash offers 70 trails representing 22 miles of skiing and riding on 280 acres. In the summer guests can enjoy North America’s longest Alpine Slides, waterslides, the Scenic Sky Ride, lift-serviced mountain biking, climbing wall, EuroBungy Trampoline, horseback rides, driving range and skate park.
