KILLINGTON, Vermont — Killington is decking the halls and celebrating the holiday season with events and deals that everyone will enjoy.

Third Annual Vermont Holiday Festival, Dec. 7-10

The Third Annual Vermont Holiday Festival will be held at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel Thursday, Dec. 7 through Sunday, Dec. 10. More than 100 decorated Christmas trees will be on display in the hotel and everyone will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win their favorite real Vermont Christmas tree to take home. Santa Clause will be visiting all weekend with his satellite workshop set up where children are welcome to help him make toys for Christmas Eve. Sleigh rides available throughout the weekend.

Nickelodeon and Killington Winterfest, Dec. 8-9

Killington Resort welcomes SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer for a weekend of family entertainment at the Nickelodeon and Killington Winterfest December 9-10. Nickelodeon and Killington Winterfest will take place in and around the Ramshead Lodge and feature live entertainment Saturday afternoon from “The Dirty Sock Funtime Band*,” which has appeared on NOGGIN’s hit series, Jack’s Big Music Show. Plus, SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer costume character appearances and even a Jelly Fish family relay race with the popular characters, magic shows, karaoke, “Find Dora’s Friends Game” and Sing-a-Longs. Nickelodeon movies will also be screened on Sunday.

$15,000 Rails to Riches Rail Jam, Dec. 16

The second annual Rails to Riches Rail Jam, featuring a $15,000 cash prize purse, in conjunction with the K06 Summit takes place at the K-1 Lodge. The rail jam finals, beginning at 5:00 p.m., will be followed by a fireworks display set to light up the December sky over Killington Resort.

In addition Benedetto’s Bistro will offer a full family fare menu at the Snowshed Lodge.
