VERNON, New Jersey — On Friday December 29th at 7pm, 25 members of Paul Green’s School of Rock All-Stars will tear up the stage at Mountain Creek. The best and brightest students from over 20 national School Of Rock branches around the country – ages 10 to 18 – will serve up the greatest classic rock hits from Zeppelin to Zappa with an undeniable proficiency well beyond their years.

The performance is the 8th stop on their east coast holiday tour and their premiere show at Mountain Creek. THE School of Rock All-Stars have played over 150 shows coast to coast, at venues such as B.B. King’s in New York City and The Knitting Factory in Hollywood, and have been joined on stage by such legends as Alice Cooper, Jon Anderson, and Eddie Vedder.

The School of Rock All-Stars consistently play to packed houses and wild critical acclaim. Together and individually, they’ve been featured on national TV and radio shows including The CBS Evening News, MTV’s Total Request Live and MTV News, and in Rolling Stone, Guitar Player, the New York Times, Washington Post, and countless others.

The Paul Green School of Rock – the apparent inspiration for the Jack Black full-length hit comedy, School of Rock – is the original performance-based rock music school. Giving students the “gift of rock” since it was founded in Philadelphia in 1998, the Paul Green School of Rock has been expanding rapidly across the nation this year. There are currently schools in 20 locations, including New Jersey, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Austin TX.

Aside from the stages of clubs and theaters coast-to-coast, students from the Paul Green School of Rock have played The Wildflower Festival, The Zappanale Festival (as documented in ROCK SCHOOL), The L.A. Film Festival, NAMM (International Music Products Association) Show in Los Angeles and Music Player Live confab in New York City.

Admission to the show is free. For more information, please visit www.mountaincreek.com and www.SchoolOfRock.com.
