VERNON, New Jersey — Zeppelin, Zappa, Floyd??В¦The Camaro, TransAm, Chevy Nova. What’s more seventies than muscle cars and classic rock, Farrah Faucet and Suzy Chapstick? Well, next weekend Mountain Creek invites you to travel back in time to an era where skiing might have been groovy, but Jake Burton had just ???invented’ the snowboard industry.

On Sunday, March 11th at 12:00pm, 25 members of Paul Green’s SCHOOL OF ROCK ALL-STARS return to Mountain Creek for another blistering live concert. They’ll perform the greatest classic rock hits from Zeppelin to Zappa at Noon at the Plaza Stage at Mountain Creek’s Vernon Base. The best and brightest students from over 20 national School Of Rock branches around the country – ages 10 to 18 ??“ will perform in a free outdoor show with an undeniable proficiency well beyond their years. If you missed it in December, this is your chance to catch these rock prodigies live.

The SCHOOL OF ROCK ALL-STARS have played over 150 shows coast to coast, at venues such as B.B. King’s in New York City and The Knitting Factory in Hollywood, and have been joined on stage by such legends as Alice Cooper, Jon Anderson, and Eddie Vedder. They’ve played stages of clubs and theaters coast-to-coast, as well as major festivals such as The Wildflower Festival and The Zappanale Festival to name just a few. They consistently play to packed houses and wild critical acclaim. Together and individually, they’ve been featured on national TV and radio including The CBS Evening News, MTV’s Total Request Live and MTV News, and in Rolling Stone, Guitar Player, The New York Times, Washington Post, and countless others.

The Paul Green School of Rock – the apparent inspiration for the Jack Black full-length hit comedy, School of Rock – is the original performance-based rock music school. Giving students the “gift of rock” since it was founded in Philadelphia in 1998, the school has been expanding rapidly across the nation. There are currently 20 schools nationally, including New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Austin, with more to come, including a special summer camp program right at Mountain Creek this summer.

Admission to the show is free, and both parents and music teachers are encouraged to bring their kids to this incredible, inspirational concert. For more information, please visit www.mountaincreek.com and www.SchoolOfRock.com

The top 40 riders will receive a TransAm tee shirt bib advancing them into the one hour final jam session. Winners will take home some of the most unique prizes created by High Cascade, Dakine, TransAm backpacks and much more.
