SPECULATOR, New York — Oak Mountain Ski Center will celebrate the holiday season and the much anticipated reopening of the ski center by offering free skiing and snowboarding to guests during a special three-day grand opening from December 26th -28th.

“What better way to celebrate our opening than with free lift tickets as a way to say thanks to the community for their support,” said Speculator Mayor Neil McGovern. “Volunteers and Village employees are hard at work getting Oak Mountain ready for the season. We expect a great turnout during our opening days and will be prepared for the crowd.”

In continuing efforts to offer some of the most affordable winter family fun around, Oak Mountain Ski Center will offer a 4-Hour Anytime Lift Ticket during normal operation. The 4-Hour Anytime Ticket is ideal for those who can’t spare the time to ski all day and offers flexibility to start anytime and ski or ride for 4 hours. Other savings and discounts such as free skiing for children ages 5 & under (when accompanied by a ticketed adult) and free rentals on Thursdays can be found on the website at www.oakmountainski.com.

Normal operation will be 9am-4pm on Thursday-Sunday for skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing along with night tubing Friday-Sunday. Ski and snowboard rentals, lessons and season passes will be offered. Food and beverage service will be available during all open hours.
