WATERVILLE VALLEY, New Hampshire ??” The winter season is upon us and the snow guns started blasting yesterday at Waterville Valley Resort. The “Altitude without the Attitude Mountain” is preparing to kick off the winter season beginning next Saturday, November 19, weather permitting. Lifts will be in motion to transport skiers and boarders to intermediate terrain on High Country, beginning at 8 a.m. As conditions allow, trails accessed by the Northside Double Chair will follow.

“We’d like to get as much terrain open as possible,” says Rob Batchelder, Director of Mountain Operations at Waterville Valley. “With our summit terrain at 4,000-ft, a level higher than most other resorts, we can turn on the snow guns and keep them running even when temps are mild at the base. If we continue to get the cold temperatures we’re expecting, I’m confident we’ll have some incredible skiing and riding for opening day.”

With opening day approaching, now is the time to get the Threedom Pass. Early season rates are in effect through November 30. Threedom Passholders enjoy access to Waterville Valley, Loon, and Cranmore all season with one pass, plus save hundreds of dollars with “Flash Your Pass Benefits,” valid at all three resorts. These benefits include food and beverage discounts, lodging discounts, activities and service discounts, discounted tickets for friends plus much more.
