Snowboarding Added to Cannon Mountain’s Annual Instructor Training Program

FRANCOCNIA, New Hamoshire ??” This winter, both snowboarders and skiers can participate in Cannon Mountain’s annual instruction program. The Instructor Training Program now in its fifth year, runs for two consecutive weekends beginning on Saturday, March 11. The program is for both aspiring ski and snowboard instructors and for good skiers and riders seeking to improve their own performance on the mountain.

Cannon Mountain’s Instructor Training Program runs on Saturdays and Sundays for two consecutive weekends with training both in the morning and afternoon. Trainers include the most experienced Cannon Mountain instructors and supervisors.

Cannon Mountain’s new Snowsports School Director, Irv Fountain, is excited about continuing and improving upon the program. “This looks to be a terrific program for any good skier and rider interested at all in teaching and becoming more confident on the any slope or trail.” The Instructor’s Program is also a great way to get into ski and snowboarding teaching at Cannon Mountain. Many past graduates are teaching now, both full and part time.

Cannon Mountain’s Instructor Training Program runs on Saturday and Sunday beginning on March 11 and ending on March 19. The cost of $195 includes four days of lift tickets. For skiers and riders with Cannon Mountain passes, the cost is $125. Space is limited. Reservations can be made through the Cannon Mountain Snowsports School by calling 603-823-8800, Ext. 787.
