Sponge Bob Squarepants and Dora the Explorer Will Venture to Attitash on Feb. 20-21

BARTLETT, New Hampshire ??” Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Sponge Bob SquarePants – he is leaving Bikini Bottom and heading to Attitash in Bartlett, New Hampshire on February 20. Meet Dora the Explorer at Attitash, February 21 as she ventures out on a Scavenger Hunt.

Sponge Bob will be greeting children at the Adventure Center at the 12:00 noon lunch hour before he judges his Crabbie Pattie Relay Race. The relay race will take place slopeside of the Attitash Base Lodge starting at 1:00 PM. Participants can register for the event from 10:00-11:00 AM that day in the Alcove of the Attitash Base Lodge. The race is open to the first 75 registrants between the ages of 6-12.

Dora the Explorer will be exploring in the Adventure Center at 12:00 noon before journeying over slopeside to the Attitash Base Lodge. At 1:00 PM Dora will monitor participants in her special activity Dora’s Scavenger Hunt. Participants can register for the event from 10:00-11:00 AM that day in the Alcove of the Attitash Base Lodge. The race is open to the first 75 registrants between the ages of 4-10.

Guests will receive a sticker voucher for each junior ticket they purchase on either day. The voucher can be redeemed at Attitash Sports Shops in exchange for a Nickelodeon sticker.

SharpShooter Imaging will be taking pictures at each event. Parents can view and purchase photographs at the kiosks located in both the Attitash Base Lodge and the Adventure Center on the day of the events.

Guests at the Grand Summit Hotel can further visit with Sponge Bob and Dora on their respective days. At 6:00 PM, February 20 and 21, Sponge Bob and Dora will welcome kids to a Nickelodeon Activity Night. Each night there will be a Nickelodeon movie starting at 6:30 PM.

Attitash is in the White Mountains of New Hampshire on Rt. 302 in Bartlett. During the winter Attitash offers 2 mountains with 70 trails and 22 miles of skiing and riding on 280 acres. In the summer guests can enjoy North America’s longest Alpine Slides, waterslides, a scenic sky ride, lift-serviced mountain biking, climbing wall, Trampoline Thing, horseback rides, driving range and skate park.
