Spring Means Special Values and Savings at Okemo Mountain Resort

LUDLOW, Vermont ??” There’s nothing quite like skiing and riding during the spring season. Mix in a little sunshine, along with some great spring lift ticket specials and plenty of wacky events for the whole family, and you’ve got spring skiing and riding at its finest. Best of all, near record snowfalls this March will ensure a long season filled with great spring conditions.

Spring Rates Are Taking Effect:
Mark your calendars, because starting Monday, March 28, 2005, Spring Season Lift Ticket Rates will be in effect through the end of the season, which means even greater savings for skiers and riders! Lift ticket rates will be drastically cut — single day lift tickets will be $45 for adults, $38 for young adults/seniors and $29 for juniors/super seniors.

VT/NH Resident Specials:
Vermont and New Hampshire residents can ski/ride the entire day for just $39 on selected Wednesdays in March for $39 and $29 in April: March 30 is just $39 and April 6, 13 is just $29!

Okemo Appreciation Days:
Skiers and riders of all ages can enjoy the entire day on the slopes at a special price on select Thursdays: March 31 is $39 and April 7, 14 is just $29!

Music, Big Splashes, Big Air:
What’s Spring without some fun and crazy events for all to enjoy? Saturday, April 2, is the Annual Okemo Slush Cup. Watch from the sidelines or participate in this crazy event that has costumed contestants skim across a man-made pond on skis, snowboards, or snow blades?В­its not as easy at you think! Registration is from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and the big splashes begin at 1 pm on the Bull Run trail (participants??В¦be sure to bring a towel!).

On Sunday, April 3, Okemo is hosting a special Dave Matthews Band Appreciation Day. The festivities on Sunday come complete with a special $25 lift ticket to anyone who purchases a ticket at Okemo on April 3! The day will also feature music from the new Dave Matthews Band Studio album and a complimentary Demo Day. Test-drive some of the latest snowboard equipment from Elan, Nordica, Burton, Rossignol, Volkl, Marker and more (a credit card imprint and waiver must be signed for use of the equipment.). Come on out and enjoy some new music and fantastic spring conditions. On Saturday, April 9, Okemo will host the Chuck & Huck Dummy Big Air event. Create a dummy and mount it on skis or a snowboard, then let it rip to see which one can get the biggest air! Prizes will be awarded for creativity, amplitude, landing and overall impression. Registration is from 9:00 am to 10:30 am that morning and the dummies line up at 11 am.
