The Killington Golf Course has fully recovered from tropical storm Irene and scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend

KILLINGTON, Vt. (March 26, 2012) – Vermont’s Killington Golf Course, a 6,186-yard, par 72 course designed by Geoffrey Cornish, announces 2012 season pass pricing today. Golfers can take advantage of the best deal in New England with an Unlimited Adult Golf season pass for only $249 when purchased by June 15, 2012. Limited amount of passes are available.

“Due to the extraordinary efforts of our grounds crew, we are proud to announce that the Killington Golf Course has fully recovered from tropical storm Irene,” stated Dave Beckwith, director of the Killington Golf Course, “In fact, we were able to open the course with all 18 holes for the final weeks of the 2011 season.”

For the 2012 season, Killington will offer an Unlimited Adult pass (ages 19 and over) for only $249 and Student pass (18 and under/full time college student) for $99. Unlimited passes are valid every day from May 26 to closing in October. Unlimited Golf Cart pass (all ages) for $149 offering unlimited golf cart use seven days a week. Plus, golf season pass holders receive discounts on golf lessons, in the pro-shop, at the Clubhouse Grill and tee times may be booked up to five days in advance.

“Our goal this summer is to once again offer an affordable, consistent and comfortable place to play golf for season pass holders, our most loyal and valued guests,” added Beckwith. “This season, we are offering the best value in our passes including great benefits.”

The 18-hole championship course is situated at a 2,000 foot elevation, offering gentle mountain breezes and enjoyable temperatures even on the warmest of days. The Killington Golf Course is a full-service golf club, offering amenities such as rental equipment, cart rental, driving range, private lessons, playing lessons and golf schools. Cart fees are not included in pass rates and may be rented per player for $12 (9 holes) or $20 (18 holes.)

The Killington Golf Course is scheduled to open for the season on May 26. All season pass sales are non-refundable and subject to 7% applicable state and local taxes. If passes do not sell out by June 15, 2012, prices will increase to $499 for adults and $129 for students.
