Warren, VT (December 11, 2012) – The Tell-A-Friend Tour is coming to Sugarbush Resort on Sunday, December 16th.

Part of the Line Travelling Circus, the Tell-A-Friend Tour is an open freestyle and parks event with pro riders Andy Perry and Ian Compton. The two will be on-hill, showcasing the latest progression of freestyle riding, providing tips and sharing the stoke with participants.

Sugarbush Parks crews are developing a special terrain park for the event at Lincoln Peak. The Sugarbush Parks crew pairs creative designs with in-house builders to put together a park where skiers and riders can have fun and progress their skills. Much of the input on design and build come from the Resort’s pro team.

“We are starting the season with a tremendous amount of guest enthusiasm for our Parks program,” said Win Smith, President of Sugarbush Resort. “The Sugarbush Parks team continues to produce a top rated park and the following among freestyle skiers and riders is growing.”

Sugarbush Parks offers a wide variety of terrain features catering to all abilities, including wall rides, kinked rails, jumps, tables and many other terrain features. The signature terrain park at Mt. Ellen features a dedicated lift that serves park riders, and the Resort also employs a dedicated terrain parks staff that keeps the parks in tip-top condition at all times.

Sugarbush Parks was ranked “Top 5 Parks in the East” by Transworld Snowboarding Magazine (2013). Sugarbush was voted “Best Terrain” and “Best Overall Resort” (2012) by OnTheSnow.com visitors; and “Favorite Ski Resort in New England” by Boston.com readers (2012).
