The Top of Vermont Gets Some New Flavors

STOWE, VT ??” Claudine Myer, a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute has recently been named as Chef for the world famous Cliff House restaurant, which is located atop the Gondola at Stowe Mountain Resort. Claudine, whose family’s culinary talents date back two generations, returns to Vermont after studying under Luis Morales and Michael Schlow at Via Matta in Boston.

The Cliff House restaurant was established in 1968. Uniquely situated at 3,625 feet atop Mt. Mansfield, The Cliff House offers unmatched dining atmospheres, tastes and services. Open seven days a week for lunch during the ski season, the Cliff House is also hosting a series of special Friday night dinners. These “Summit Series” dinners include a gondola ride with hot beverages, champagne reception at the top, five-course themed gourmet dinner, a candle-lit mountain top setting, and memories of a lifetime.
