February 16, 2012 – Lakewood, Colo. – The Professional Ski Instructors of America and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI) is excited to announce its partnership extension with Transpack through 2014.

Established in 1995, Transpack creates backpacks and travel luggage for action sports participants, including skiers, snowboarders, and skaters. The New York-based company works with a mission to design the most functional specialized and lifestyle packs and luggage to serve the needs of athletes around the world.

“To make the best products for action sports athletes, we rely on feedback from professionals like PSIAAASI members who know what’s needed for luggage and travel packs to stand up to constant travel and mountain elements,” said Transpack President Gene Kliot. “We’re happy to be able to share our bags with snowsports instructors to help make their trips to the mountain easier.”

Each year members of the PSIA-AASI Teams and PSIA-AASI staff travel to snowsports resorts across the country to film an instruction-based television show, Go With a Pro, which promotes the work of professional snowsports instructors. Transpack travel luggage is actively tested during travel and onsnow filming of these Go With a Pro television shoots to carry ski and camera equipment.

“Transpack makes some of the best ski and snowboard equipment travel bags on the market and we are proud to continue our partnership with them,” said Andy Hawk, PSIA-AASI marketing director. “Their products are popular with our members and are a critical part of our annual Go With a Pro filming trips.”

Transpack products are available to PSIA-AASI members through the PSIA-AASI Accessories Catalog. For more information about Transpack visit Transpack.net.
