WINDHAM, NY ??” The following is a list of upcoming events at Windham Mountain this holiday season:

Dec. 18 – Lighting of the Tree Celebration: Come out to enjoy a holiday celebration with all your friends at Windham Mountain. There will be hot chocolate, caroling and other great events to count down to the tree lighting. Bring your own holiday ornaments and hang them on the Windham Mountain tree.

Dec. 19 – Boarding for Breast Cancer Board-A-Thon: Skiers and Riders are responsible for getting individual sponsors to donate money on a per run basis or in a lump sum. The skier/rider will then make as many runs as possible through out the day with all the money raised going to the Boarding for Breast Cancer Foundation. The more runs you make the more money will be donated. So get out there and go skiing and riding for a good cause.

Dec. 19 – Rossignol Jib Jam: Freestyle rail slide contest open to skiers and snowboarders. The competitors will be judged on best overall impression. There will be a straight rail, giggle box, rainbow rail, C-Box, and an A-Frame. Great Prizes and medals will be awarded to the top three in each category from your friends at RS Snowboards. Registration fee is $10 on the 2nd floor of the base lodge from 9am to 11:30am.

Dec. 31 – New Years Eve: Ring in the New Year at our annual celebration. Fun is the name of the game at the Mt. Grill and Legends Lounge. We will start playing in Legends Lounge with an apr??s ski party and tons of giveaways. The Family Fun Party begins with DJ Patrick warming up the dance floor. This year the Mt. Grill will be having a special menu for everyone’s taste buds. Enjoy the awesome fireworks display at 9p.m. from the deck of the lodge, Legends Lounge, or on your last run of night skiing. Concluding the fireworks enjoy a champagne toast and party favors. If you’re looking for something more intimate, Vines Bistro & Wine Bar located at the Winwood Inn has an elegant menu with an intimate atmosphere. Reservations are a must call 518-734-3000.

Jan. 1 – Holiday Hangover Race: It’s New Years Day what else would you want to do besides take a run down NASTAR. So come on out, sign up and we’ll give you your anti-hangover kit, a pair of sunglasses and some Tylenol. Don’t worry this race won’t start too early; registration will be from 11am to noon with the race starting at 1pm. Cost? Just $10.
