Camelback 1/30/15

Was snowing last night when I got home from work so I decided to get myself up early, scoot up to the mountain for a morning 2 hr session. Most of the mountain was groomed overnight. On those trails there was a nice coating of fresh snow, just enough to fill in the ridges of the cord underneath. Silky smooth skiing and no feeling or sound of ice. On Lower Cleo and Uncle Bill there was about 1 to 1 1 /2 inches of cover on the moguls, very sweet. Got out at 9 sharp and got several runs quickly, by 10 the crowds started coming out and by 11 when I quit very few tidbits remained. A lot of fun. Will be up there both days this weekend. BTW, calm at 9 but by 11 the winds were picking up drastically so it was probably wise of them to groom last nights snow in.
