Stratton 12/5/2015

Saturday was our first day out this season. Sunny day, mid 30s, light breeze.

Snow was soft in the sun, firm in the center and sugary on the sides.

Not great, but not bad either. Conditions were "variable".

From the top, it was either Black Bear, Polar Bear or Frank’s Fall Line. After the lunch hour, it got a bit busy on the narrow trails, so we called it.

Hopefully, things will cool off so snowmaking can resume soon.

New base lodge is really nice. They are still working on Grizzly’s, so they have a temporary bar and stage setup on the left side of the lodge as you walk in.
