Stowe Mountain Resort Opens for the ’12-’13 Ski & Ride Season

(STOWE, VT) November 17, 2012 – Stowe Mountain Resort opened today for a new and very optimistic ski & ride season, with twice as much terrain as late November 2011. This bodes well for the Thanksgiving Holiday on the mountain. Now through Thanksgiving weekend Stowe plans to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on Mount Mansfield and beginner terrain open at Spruce Peak starting 11/23.

“Our 4.7 million dollar snow making investment has already paid off,” said Michael Colbourn, Stowe’s VP of Marketing and Sales. “Opening more terrain earlier in the season is on top of our priority list. 2012, mission accomplished,” Colbourn adds.

In addition to New England’s largest snow making initiative in 2012, Stowe Mountain Resort is introducing its NEW Evolution Stowe Card products and programs.
