TANNERSVILLE, PA – For the past several years, Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark has held the Big Give charity event during the summer season. The Big Give is a partnership between charities, local and regional, that sell discounted Camelbeach tickets all summer to raise money for the respective charity.

This year, four charities were selected to be part of the Summer 2013 Big Give, including: Devereux of Pocono, We Can Do Better, Philadelphia, Sherman Theatre, Stroudsburg and United Way of Monroe County. For each waterpark admission ticket sold, the charity receives 50% of the proceeds. So far this season, they have already raised over $45,000.

On Saturday, August 17 and August 24 the charities will have a booth inside Camelbeach to educate waterpark guests about their charities and will be selling rubber ducks for $10. These ducks will compete in a race in the Nile Mile Lazy River at 3pm. The top 3 winners of each race will win hundreds of dollars of prizes from local businesses.

There will be check presentations in the fall to each of the charities.
