(Nov. 6) – Lindsey Vonn has proudly announced she will stay with HEAD – her ski and boot supplier – for the next ten years. Vonn’s new contract means she will most likely remain on HEAD equipment for the remainder of her active racing career. Vonn, who won the Overall and three discipline globes last season, believes that the HEAD family is the best way forward for her to achieve her career goals: to keep winning.

Vonn is the stellar star on the Women’s FIS Alpine World Cup Tour and has been with HEAD since 2009. Her impressive record-breaking accomplishments speak for themselves: 31 World Cup wins on HEAD skis; 5 World Championship medals (two gold), 16 World Cup globes (four overall, 12 disciplines), and a Gold and Bronze at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games – not to mention setting another record last season for the most points earned by a female racer (1940 points).

For the past two seasons, HEAD has been the most successful brand on the FIS Alpine World Cup. As 28-year-old Vonn sets new targets and goals for herself leading into this season, her aspirations and hopes continue to match those of HEAD: to remain at the top of the podium!
