May 6 Deadline Approaching for Ski/Ride Season Passes for Whiteface & Gore

LAKE PLACID, New York ??” The final purchase deadline for the 2005-06 Whiteface only non-holiday ski and ride Last Chance Pass is fast approaching. May 6 is the last day that this pass may be purchased. The Last Chance Pass is $299 for ages 20-69. This is the final season it will be offered for under $300. The blackout dates for this pass are December 24, 2005-January 1, 2006, January 14-16, 2006 and February 18-26, 2006.

Adult full season, adult non-holiday, teen full season, junior full season and college full season offerings for Whiteface and Gore Mountain increase in price after July 8.

The adult (ages 20-69) Whiteface/Gore non-holiday pass is $449 when purchased by July 8 and increases to $499 if purchased by November 11.

An adult full season pass for both Whiteface and Gore Mountains is $599 and increases to $689 until November 11. These passes are interchangeable at both mountains and are good for every day of the season.

Junior (ages 7-12) full season passes are available for $229 when purchased by November 11. The price increases thereafter to $349. Teen (ages 13-19) and college full season passes are $289 until November 11. After that date, the price increases to $429. College students must show proof of 12 or more credits. Children six and under, and adults ages 70 and over, ski for just a $25 season pass processing fee when purchased by November 11, or $30 after that date.

The Whiteface senior non-holiday pass is for skiers ages 65-69, and has only 21 blackout dates. This pass is $299 and there are no deadlines for purchase. The blackout dates for this pass are December 24, 2005-January 1, 2006, January 14-16, 2006 and February 18-26, 2006.

The successful Snow Sampler may be purchased for $199. This includes four unrestricted transferable tickets valid at either Whiteface or Gore and must be purchased before December 19 at whiteface.com or goremountain.com.

For the ski racers, a NASTAR season pass can be purchased at either mountain. Whiteface’s NASTAR pass is $75 for adults, $35 for juniors. At Gore, rates are $60 per pass. There are no purchase deadlines for NASTAR passes.

For students, there is the Student Ski Card which is good at both Gore and Whiteface. This card offers outstanding value for teens ages 13-19 and college students with 12 or more credits. With the purchase of the card, the first visit is free with all additional visits just $29 each day. College students must show proof of credits with current class schedule or bursar bill.

Kids Kampus at Easy Acres is offering many products for children, and all of the following programs include full season pass. The Cloudsplitter Club, for children ages 7-12, is $700 if purchased by May 6 and is $750 if purchased by July 8. There is the Cloudsplitter Teen Club for ages 13-16 and is $775 if purchased by May 6 with increases thereafter. The Cloudsplitter Lunch Pass compliments the Cloudsplitter Club membership and may be purchased for $112 at any time.

There are nursery passes available for children ages 1-6. A full season pass is $750 if purchased by May 6 while the non-holiday pass is $500 when purchased by May 6. Both passes increase thereafter.

Play-N-Ski is for ages 4-6. A full season pass is $1,000 while the non-holiday pass is $650 when purchased by May 6. Playtime and instruction with a Whiteface Snow Pro is included with the Play-N-Ski program. The Future Medalist program offers youngsters 10 consecutive Sunday sessions from 1:15 pm ??“ 3:15 pm. It is an introduction to the world of skiing for youngsters 4-6 years old. This program is $300 when purchased by May 6. All programs increase thereafter.
