Okemo Season Pass Deadline Approaching October 8th – Specials for 19 – 29 Year Olds

LUDLOW, Vt. – The first frost warnings of the season have been issued in Vermont. Long-range weather forecasts are spreading through social media like wildfire as multi-colored weather maps of the U.S. tout the probability of a weak to moderate El Nino year and above-average snowfall in the Northeast. Okemo Mountain Resort’s Season Pass deadline is approaching.  It won’t be long before winter is upon us.

Okemo Mountain Resort Season Passes for the 2012/2013 ski and snowboard season are available for purchase now and savvy snowsports enthusiasts can see substantial savings when they purchase their season passes for this winter by Oct. 8. Some Okemo season passes offer added benefits including skiing at Okemo’s sister resorts: Mount Sunapee, N.H., and Crested Butte, Colo. Okemo’s pass alliance with nearby Stratton Mountain continues this winter as well.

New this year, Okemo is offering the Millennial Pass for 19-29 year-olds. Okemo understands it’s tough making the transition from college to career in these financially trying times. Okemo’s Millennial Pass is valid seven days a week, including holidays, at Okemo and Mount Sunapee, with no blackout dates. And Millennial Season Passholders receive 25 percent off multi-day tickets at Crested Butte, Colo. The best part is the price – only $599 by Oct. 8; and $699 afterward.

Okemo offers a variety of season pass products to choose from. There’s something to suit every budget and lifestyle.

The Sunday One-Day Pass is designed for individuals and families who like to ski Okemo on Sundays (non-holiday). This direct-to-lift, non-holiday pass is valid only at Okemo and excludes 12/30/12, 1/20/13, and 2/17/13. The price is $379 for an adult when purchased by Oct 8 and $429 afterward.

At the other end of the Season Pass spectrum is Okemo’s all-inclusive Ultra Pass. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the slopes every day at Okemo, Mount Sunapee, Crested Butte and Stratton with no restrictions They also get first-tracks access at Okemo and Stratton on weekends and holidays, plus discounts on preferred parking, retail, culinary, rentals, demos and fitness club membership. When skiers and riders purchase their Ultra Pass by Oct. 8, the price is $1,569 and $1,669 afterward.
