Summit Has Everyone “Dreaming” For Ski Season
Greater Boston’s Premier Ski and Snowboard Shop brings in elite skiers from the film, “Dream Factory,” on November 10th, 2012.

WHO: Summit Ski & Snowboard (Summit), located in Framingham on Route 9, brings you the athletes behind the ski film, “Dream Factory,” on November 10th, 2012. These extreme skiers include Dash Longe, Dylan Hood, Matt Philippi, and Tatum Monod.

WHAT: Athletes from the Teton Gravity Research (TGR) Film, “Dream Factory,” will be appearing at Summit Ski & Snowboard for a viewing of the film’s recent release. Watch the film with the athletes and have them sign a copy of the film available for purchase. Summit will be displaying “Dream Factory” on their 180inch HD screen. Check out this season’s hottest gear that the athletes wear in extreme skiing conditions. Also, bring in your skis or snowboard for a tune-up with SkiMD to prepare for this season.

Dream Factory (The Film): TGR makes a pilgrimage to America’s last frontier, Alaska: “The Dream Factory”. Alaska has been known for its early gold rush days, the rise of commercial fishing, and the explosion of the ski and snowboard freeride movement. TGR’s modern day athletes tear through Alaska’s awe-inspiring expanse. Watch as the TGR crew ventures from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Pemberton, British Columbia, delving deep into the Alaskan way of life during a record snowfall year for Alaska, skiing terrain most of people only dream about.

Matt Philippi: Matt is a Boston Native currently residing in Jackson, Wyoming. While he is big on half-pipe and park competitions, Matt now looks for natural terrain and deep powder snow. He has won several medals for his action on the half-pipe.

Dash Longe: Dash hails from Salt Lake City, Utah. He has been featured in many of TGR’s Films often pairing with Dylan Hood. Dash skis out of Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe, California.

Dylan Hood: Dylan has appeared in many TGR films, making a name for himself as a solid backcountry freestyle skier. He now lives in Hood River, Oregon. Dylan and Dash have skied the world together, from Montenegro to British Columbia.

Tatum Monod: From Alberta, British Columbia, Tatum skis at Whistler Mountain. Tatum is known for her double back flip. Free Skier Magazine titled her “Skiing’s New It Girl.”
