NEWRY, Maine — Time is short for skiers and riders looking to save on The Maine Pass valid at Sunday River and Sugarloaf. The early season pricing deadline is Friday, Nov. 30.

Both resorts have experienced one of the best Novembers in recent years and are rapidly expanding terrain offerings thanks to extensive snowmaking efforts. Summer capital investments in the resorts totaling nearly $10 million dollars await skiers and riders including sizable investments in both resorts snowmaking systems.

“Both resorts got open early and we haven’t looked back,” said Jim Costello, Director of Brand Management at Sunday River and Sugarloaf. “The Maine Pass and our additional pass offerings have the best benefits in the east and offer access to two fine resorts that are serious about delivering on service and snow. Folks looking to save on their winter fun should act by Friday.”

Other passes nearing their early season pricing deadlines include the Maine Student Pass and New England College Pass, which is also valid at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire.

Sunday River is projecting to have over 35 trails open this weekend on up to 5 peaks. Sugarloaf will offer up to 20 trails with skiing and riding from top to bottom on over 2000 vertical feet of trails. Both resorts have open terrain parks and are expanding them.

Maine Passes start at $349 and offer skiing and riding at Sunday River and Sugarloaf, plus discounted lift tickets at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire, Big Sky in Montana and additional Boyne Resorts in the US and Canada.
