Tony Award Winner Ebersole to play at Belleayre

Highmount, NY – Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole will make a very special appearance in the intimate setting of the Belleayre Music Festival on Saturday, July 21 at 8 p.m.

Ms. Ebersole has received virtually every Off-Broadway award and her second Tony Award for Leading Actress in a Musical for her “dual role of a lifetime” as Edith Beale and Little Edie Beale in “Grey Gardens.”  The show was nominated for 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Other memorable stage performances include her Tony Award-winning performance as Dorothy Brock in the smash hit revival “42nd Street,” “Steel Magnolias,” “On the Twentieth Century,” “Dinner at Eight” (Tony and Outer Critics Circle nominations) and the recent revival of Noel Coward’s “Blithe Spirit.”

Ms. Ebersole has captivated audiences throughout her performing career, from the Broadway stage to television, films, concerts and recordings.

Just days prior to her Belleayre show, TBS will premier the new TV series, “Sullivan & Son,” in which Ms. Ebersole plays a starring role. Ms. Ebersole has also appeared in many movies, including “Amadeus,” “Tootsie,” “Confessions of a Shopaholic” and last fall’s hit, “The Big Wedding.”

Tickets for Christine Ebersole at Belleayre are $66, $56, $46, $36 and $25 for lawn seating.

August 25, Carolines Presents Comedy in the Catskills starring “Curb Your Enthusiasm’s” Susie Essman. September 1, “America’s No. 1 Tribute Show” The Music of Led Zeppelin – A Rock Symphony.

Belleayre Mountain is located in the heart of New York’s Catskill Mountain region. The area is located just off Route 28 and is 37 miles west of Thruway Exit 19 at Kingston; 55 miles southeast of Oneonta on Route 28; 40 miles from the Route 17 exit at Roscoe; and 95 miles southwest of Albany and just two hours north of NYC.
