Sugarbush Resort Kicks Off 2012-2013 Season Pass Sales

SUGARBUSH, VT. (August 22, 2012) – Earlier this week, Sugarbush Resort began its fall season pass campaign, launching sales of 2012-2013 season passes at their lowest available prices through September 12th.

Sugarbush continues to offer four standard passes – the All-Mountain Pass for unlimited skiing and riding at Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen; the Mt. Ellen Pass; the Mt. Ellen Plus Pass; and the Fancy Pass.

New this year, Sugarbush and neighboring Mad River Glen are unveiling the Threesome College Pass for only $359 through Nov. 7, 2012. With unlimited skiing and riding at Sugarbush’s Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen, and unlimited skiing at Mad River Glen, the pass offers college students affordable access to the unrivaled terrain of the three mountains of the Mad River Valley.

Sugarbush is also returning with their ultra-affordable season pass option for skiers and snowboarders between the ages of 19-29. Known as the “For20s Pass,” the option provides unlimited skiing at both Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen for only $319 if purchased by Sept. 12, 2012. Purchasers of the For20s Pass can also opt to “Add Mad” for an additional $80, which gains them midweek access to neighboring Mad River Glen.

Sugarbush continues to offer FREE skiing and riding to kids twelve and under when a parent purchases an Adult 7 Pass (1 dependant pass per adult pass purchased). And kids six and under always ski and ride for free.

“The leaves are already turning and we’re looking ahead to the coming winter,” said Win Smith, president of Sugarbush. “With our various pass options, including our new joint offerings with Mad River Glen, we’re lining up to be the Northeast’s premier destination for winter adventure.

For all Sugarbush pass options, “early” pre-season rates are available through Sept. 12, 2012. For College Pass rates, the pre-season discount is extended through Nov. 7, 2012.

The All Mountain Pass offers unlimited skiing and riding at Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen. Rates for the All Mountain Pass are: Adult 7 day for $1279; Adult 5 day for $549; college for$319; and youth ages 7-18 for $429.

The Mt. Ellen Pass offers unlimited skiing at Mt. Ellen including full access to the terrain park. This pass is valid at Lincoln Peak in the fall of 2012 prior to Mt. Ellen opening. Mt. Ellen will remain open, weather permitting, through Sunday, March 31, 2013. Rates for the Mt. Ellen Pass include Adult 7 day for $559; college for $219; youth ages 7-18 for $259.

The Mt. Ellen Plus Pass offers all the benefits of the Mt. Ellen Pass, plus five additional days and spring skiing at Lincoln Peak. Rates for the Mt. Ellen Plus Pass include Adult 7 day for $849 and youth ages 7-18 for $339.

The Fancy Pass offers all the access of an All Mountain Pass, with the addition of spring and summer privileges for golf, mountain biking, Health and Racquet Club access, disc golf, zipline, and the mountain’s new bungee trampoline. Rates for the Fancy Pass include an individual option of $3800, or a family option of $7000.

All adult 7-day passes come with built-in discounts for resort dining, lodging, and retail purchases. Adult All Mountain 7 passes include discounts to select Valley businesses including The Warren Store, Infinite Sports, and Complexions Skincare Studio.

Sugarbush is continuing their passholder referral program by offering 2012-13 passholders a $100 gift card for referring a new non-discounted Adult All Mountain 7 pass purchase, and a $50 gift card for referring a new non-discounted Mt. Ellen 7 or All Mountain 5 pass.
