A fire that is estimated to have caused over $200,000 in damage occurred at the Joe Jones Sun & Ski store, located on the White Mountain Highway in North Conway, New Hampshire around 8PM on Wednesday, October 24th.

The business was closed at the time and no injuries have been reported, according to Boston.com. The damage to the store is primarily water, smoke, and electrical damage. The building may also have suffered from minor structural damage.

Boston.com also reports that the fire is being called, “Suspicious”, but with no additional details. Sun and Ski is part of a national chain, with a new location in Woburn scheduled to open on November 2nd, as we reported just a few days ago. Of course; with ski season just about to kick off; this is not an opportune time for a ski shop to suffer from a fire.
